1. Access your installation certificate and activation pack:
a. Open Active Directory Users and Computers.
b. Right-click on the Tokens node and select Properties.
c. Go to the Installation Info tab.
d. Click "Copy to Clipboard" to copy your installation certificate.
e. Email the installation certificate to support@mi-token.com and request an activation pack with your desired license files.
2. Receive the activation pack email from Mi-Token containing your encrypted license files.
3. Import the license files:
a. Open Active Directory Users and Computers again.
b. Right-click on the Tokens node and select Properties.
c. Click the General tab and select Import a License.
d. Click Browse and locate the license file(s) you received in the activation pack email.
e. Click Open, then Next to import each file.
f. If prompted, enter the verification string provided with your installation certificate.
4. Verify the license was imported successfully:
a. The license details like number of user licenses and expiration date should now be visible on the General tab.
5. If importing seed files for hard tokens:
a. Repeat the import process on the General tab for each seed file received.
6. If importing a new Key Encryption Key (KEK):
a. Import the KEK file the same way as the license files.
b. The KEK is required to provision mobile soft tokens securely.
7. Close and re-open Active Directory Users and Computers for the licenses to take effect fully.
Make sure to keep your installation certificate, verification string, and license files secure.
